The Great Wall of China is the huge wall that runs for several thousand
kilometres from Jiayu Guan to China's east coast. Snaking
through the Chinese countryside, the Great Wall passes just north of Beijing
China. This world-famous landmark is a "must see" tourist
attraction
for all visitors to Beijing.
Construction of the Great Wall began in the third century and continued
for hundreds of years.
